JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY:
The Millwright Foreman will be responsible for managing other millwrights while working on the job site as necessary per the project. This person will show a willingness to teach and work with less experienced millwrights. This person must have the ability to run small jobs while possessing the ability to follow directions and always stress quality and safety. This person must be able to read and work off of blue prints, use a conduit bender with a firm understanding of AC and DC current, terminating skills, rigging, hanger installation, assembly skills and all around good mechanical skills. Overtime availability is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for keeping personnel working safely and productively at all times and within the timelines and budgets assigned by management
- Review existing personnel and their skill level to help determine what training requirements are necessary
- Responsible for the quality of products and service as well as customer satisfaction
- Interact closely with maintenance and managers
- Must demonstrate the ability to interpret, explain and enforce RMR’s policies and procedures
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to be clearly understood by diverse group of individuals
- Understand and comply with all aspects of the Agreement to Agree process to ensure proper billing with regard to change orders
- Must demonstrate the ability to compile information as directed in a timely manner
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple groups of individuals
- Maintain constant focus and direction throughout project challenges
- Must demonstrate the ability to supervise and direct all field personnel
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive attitude and project a positive image of the company at all times
- Must demonstrate the ability to conduct himself/herself in a neat, orderly and professional manner
- Responsible for making sure millwright’s daily time is properly managed and logged correctly
- Ensure millwrights have the proper tools for project completion
- Responsible for all company tools and equipment assigned to their job
- Responsible for keeping their work area clean and safe
- Responsible for filling out all incident reports
- Responsible for reviewing and communicating daily Job Safety reports to all field personnel
- Responsible to ensure there is no harassment of another employee, customer or client of the project whether of a sexual, racial or otherwise offensive nature
- Willing to travel to Ronco project locations as required
- Must manage the job site as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must demonstrate the ability to work under stressful conditions and extreme weather conditions. This person must possess the ability to work swing shifts and be in good physical condition to meet the high demands of the overall duties.
- Some MW Foreman will need to manage more than one job depending on location
- Must be willing to work extended hours
- Any other tasks as deemed necessary by management
