Starting in the mid 1980’s Ronco Machine has been designing, building and rebuilding industrial machinery. We began work in a old farm building near Lake Winola, Pennsylvania and were forced into a new metal pole building not far away by a fire which destroyed the barn. But turned out to be a blessing, we now had a real loading dock, an acceptable office, heat in the winter and a safe electrical service. From there we built a much larger building to house both our machinery business and our industrial service arm of the company, we were called Ronco Machine and Rigging We built up both sides of the business and in 2013 we moved the machinery side of the business away from the service end into its own location with a nice office area for design and project management. Today we are located in a 22,000 square foot facility in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania just off interstates I81 and I476. We are conveniently positioned two hours away from both New York City and Philadelphia in the beautiful Endless Mountains.
We build new machinery of our design, we build machinery to our customer’s specifications and we rebuild machinery that have been in prior service. Ronco has an in-house machine shop, AWS certified welding and fabrication, machine assembly and testing. We have mechanical and electrical designers on staff. Electrical enclosures and panels are built in-house for our machinery. The number of our staff is relatively small but the average time employed here is very high by today’s standards. Our team is close and much synergy flowing throughout. Our designers are involved in the testing and checkouts of their handiwork, and often partake in it’s assembly.
Our industry focus, for the first part of our existence, was primarily the paper industry. But for the last 10+ years we have been using our skills in power transmission and motion to build equipment for a wide range of customers in a wide range of industries. Capacitor winders for jet engines, line bars for timber processing, cake depositors for the food industry and a very large number of excellent paper tube winders for the converting industry. Ronco supports all of the machinery we make; we install, startup and service our machinery. We have a dedicated Spare Parts Department that will not only get you back on line quickly but will also help you with spares and parts for obsolete or off-shore machinery. We stand behind our work and guarantee it. RMI 2020
